Review content:
I went to Mill Run Vision Center for their convenient location to where i live, but I would advise driving an hour or ten to visit anyone else. My initial visit went well, but upon filling my second prescription was when things went south. Despite no changes to my prescription they ordered the wrong prescription for one eye. I was stuck spending one very long night with a lot of pain and irritation to my eye, but that was my only option as I was at work and could still see better with the contact in than with out it. The next day I opened a new pack and again had pain and irritation, I called the Dr. and inquired if this could be a bad "batch" of contacts? They seemed to doubt that and already leaned toward the direction of the prescription being wrong, but I was told to call back the next day when I had my prescription information available. It turned out it was the wrong prescription and they ordered the correct lenses for me. The next day I called to see if the new lenses had arrived and the Dr. replied yes they are here, although they hadn't bothered to call me. He followed up saying that I should get to the office that afternoon because they would be closed on vacation the next couple days. I was unable to leave work on such short notice, but I was able to have them picked up by a signifcant other and she was greeted by informing her that I needed to return the old lenses or I would be billed for the correct ones. The next day they were open for business I received a call before 10 a.m. asking when I was bringing the bad prescription back. I said I would be in that day and I was informed they were there till 5:00. On my lunch break I ran over to their office only to find a piece of paper in the door window saying "out to lunch, back at 1:00" I returned later for the second time later that day and returned the incorrect lenses. I can understand the mistake of ordering the wrong lenses, all of us are susceptible to making mistakes. Why I will never return again is that at no point did anyone apologize for the slip up and say sorry for pain and inconvenience. All I ever heard was make sure you bring the wrong prescription back or we will bill you! Pros: null Cons: null
