Review content:
Pheasant Hollow and Quail Ridge (managed by Candlebrook) is an absolute rip-off and I strongly urge you to consider living elsewhere. Case in point: 2 1/2 months BEFORE my lease was to expire I received notice to renew. In bold letters, it stated: "We cannot renew your lease without your signature." Two weeks later, without my signature, Candlebrook automatically renewed my lease for one year. In addition, I was charged $200 "amenities fee" in addition to now having to pay for 2 months rent AFTER I move out. So, a 12-month lease is now charged as 14 months as a "penalty." Plus, you'll have to pay $75 for carpet cleaning (carpets are NOT cleaned before you move in), and I've waited months to have maintance fix problems with toilets, the dishwasher tipping out of the counter, and exploding lightbulbs above the stove. Also, your rent will increase without explanation. Mine has gone from $1,385 to $1,653 with no reason given. This is a dump. A rip-off. Go elsewhere. This is the worst option available in central New Jersey.
