Review content:
I went to get an eye exam at this place because they said they were seeing people today (a holiday). I thought awesome, I don't need to make an appointment. I got to see the doctor pretty quick but right when the exam started she got a call on her cellphone and stopped the exam to take the call. She started cursing and arguing on the phone and hung up on the person. The person called back and she again stopped the exam to take the call. After the exam, I was directed to the counter. The ladies behind the counter were busy chatting away with some other person about a shooting and they told me to sit. Mean while they continued to talk. Then when one of the ladies decided to direct their attention to me I asked if I could have a copy of my prescription the other woman working the counter interjected to say, "Oh you can't split services like that! If you want your prescription you have to pay $25!". Really? Come on. When I got my first eye exam, I had gone to Metro Optics (on Metropolitan Ave) and they had no problem giving me my prescription. I had bought my first pair from Vision World. This time I just wanted the prescription because I have found that it is less expensive to buy online. When I told the ladies that I would have to come back to buy glass from them, they got pushy about me getting credit from them to get them now. I told them I was in the process of trying to improve my credit and I could not open a new credit account. I said I would have to wait about two weeks. They kept trying to push it on me to buy them now, telling me that I should try anyway and I need the glasses. They don't know what I need! My prescription is very slight. I only use glasses when I feel I need them, which is not everyday. Needless to say I am not coming back here. They were so unprofessional. I am taking my business back to Metro Optics. Their doctor and employees are 1000 times better than this place.
