Review content:
When I took my pet there, Dr. Stuckey was not only condescending, but also didn't run BL00D (sorry, citysearch forbids the usage of the real spelling) tests or check the temp of an animal who had pretty bad edema. He gave us diuretics! I took my pet to a different vet the next day where they ran BL00D work, took x-rays, aspirated the problem area and thoroughly discussed the issue. White BL00D cell count was very high. Suspect infection or cancer, but gave me antibiotics in case it's tick-bourne, while we wait for radiologist feedback. My neighbor hates Dr. Stuckey and accuses him of killing his dog due to this type of neglect. Sad; now I know how and why. I spoke with someone who used to work with Stuckey and they told me similar stories of sad neglect of a sick animals and being condescending to his clients and staff. Apparently, many have lost animals because of his nonchalant attitude or just never knew the truth about their animal's condition. If you just need vaccinations, meds or things you are already educated about, he is all right, but if you need anything more than that, do NOT go to him or you are risking your animal's life. I have four animals and know a couple of things about a good vet. This is not one of them.
Pros: intown, office staff nice to people and animals
Cons: negligent & condescending vet, few vet hours, no diagnostic testing
