Businiess name:  Camarillo Dental Group

Review content:
As a new resident of Camarillo, I selected this dentist because they took my insurance and it was relatively close to my house. At first I was impressed with the high tech equipment and the friendly staff. However, by the end of my visit I had been quoted close to a thousand dollars in charges. In fact, they required that I sign a statement saying they warned me of my gum and tooth condition and the risk of tooth loss if left untreated. I gave in and had the pricey gum therapy that they strongly recommended. And refused the other treatments. I was suspicious and unwilling to pay hundreds of dollars for my dental visit that was supposed to be covered by insurance! I decided to have another opinion about the $310 partial crown they said I needed. I ended up going to another dentist and he agreed that I had a cavity, but my out of pocket charges were next to nothing. Pros: The staff is deceptively friendly Cons: Excessive out-of-pocket charges
