I went to Steven L Marvin salon the day before my birthday to get a shampoo and straighten. The stylist was 15 minutes late and extremely rude. he insulted my hair several times, including its dry condition and a "bad dye job" which he repeated during the entire shampoo and most of the dry. he actually asked "what is going on here?" about my roots. everything he said was rude and inappropriate. i left there feeling horrible about myself and my hair. he even did a poor job drying and left some of it wet. i complained to the front desk and turned in a comment card and it was never followed up on. i do not recommend this to anyone, most people go to a salon to feel good not to be insulted.
Pros: interior was nicely designed. aveda products.
Cons: bad service, bad stylists, terrible experience
