Review content:
I am a foodie, so I am harsh with my ratings. I know a lot of people that really like this place- but if you are looking for anything that resembles real japanese food you might want to try a different place. They have the typical hibachi grill with the typical hibachi fare (which by the way I never ever saw a hibachi grill in japan) . I can see how taking kids here would keep them entertained with the guy cooking the food and doing little tricks (always the same- flaming onion, flipping shrimp tails around..ect). They have sushi but nothing spectacular. The raw fish isn't always super fresh tasting, and their knife skills could use a little tweaking. Maybe if they included some toro on the menu with some real japanese rice i'd think about eating here again. I cannot eat another plate of greasy noodles, salty veggies and overcooked shrimp :P If you are going to eat here I suggest downing a few asahi or sapporo beers before and during my meal.
Pros: clean, good service, lots of alcohol
