This place is a total joke. I would NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER go back here. I had recently changed my dental insurance so my previous dentist wasn't covered by my dental insurance. Arrowhead Dental Group was, so I made an appointment with them. I went in for an exam and a cleaning. After being examined by the dentist, I was told that I needed a crown and that they could do it that day for me. Like I had all day to sit in the dentist's chair and get a crown when all I came in for was a cleaning. Please! Next, I was examined by the dental hygenist, who went to get the dentist who came back in and informed me that they could not clean my teeth because I needed scaling and root plaining and that if they attempted to just clean my teeth, they could be liable or some stupid bullcrap like that. My son also had an appointment for a cleaning the next week. He went in and they told him the same exact thing about not being able to clean his teeth. I know that I have had gum issues in the past, but not to the point that someone couldn't clean my teeth without stating that they would be liable if something happened to them if I didn't opt for the scaling and root planing. But, my son is a different story. I cointacted our previous dentist and asked them to look at my sons dental records with their office and see if what I was told at Arrowhead Dental Group held any water. They were appalled and stated that no there was nothing wrong with his teeth that would warrent anyone to do scaling and root plaining on them. All Arrowhead Dental Group wants to do is sell you services you don't need. Stay away from them!
