I was recommended to Old Fisherman's Grotto by my hotel. I didn't want formal dining, just really good seafood. This was just the place! The owner Chris was standing out front, passing out samples of clam chowder (which I give a perfect 10!) He was very gracious. The staff was very pro, and the food fantastic! My hotel sent me a Calamari appetizer (I had a VIP card), and I've never had better. Nice "local" feel for a restaurant in the middle of Monterey's Fisherman's Wharf!
