To Dennis Dusso and the Big-O San Clemente Team:
We would like to express how deeply grateful we are to you and your entire Big-O San Clemente Team for the work above and beyond the call of duty you performed on our 1999 Ford Explorer; what started with replacing the radiator quickly turned into a nightmare when it became evident the quick-fix sealant I had used to stop the radiator leaks had made its way into other parts; the first flush resulted in a thick black liquid and it didn't look much better after the third flush, new radiator, new hoses, and now a new water pump... I drove past the shop around 8:30pm and there were still three people with their heads under the hood of my car continuing to flush the engine only to continue to receive a black substance in return. After testing pressure on the head gasket and continuing to take temperature readings on the top and bottom hoses, there was only one option left, the muck had lodged inside the motor and the only way to clean it was to take it apart; the following morning one of the team members called me with the bad news but asked me to leave it a bit longer... after a few hours, a telephone call and the best news we could have received, after continuing to try flushing in the opposite direction, the sealant clog finally dislodged and everything came out... a few more flushes until everything came out crystal clear and the truck runs better than ever now.
Great communication throughout, a team with a ""never-quit"" attitude, competitive prices, a great warranty and the cost broken up into twelve months with 0% interest, yes, we will be back! I used to think Big-O Tires was just a large corporate tire store but I could not have been more wrong, as Dennis put it to another customer standing next to me ""the only thing we don't do is bodywork""; My wife and I were so happy with the results we will be taking both our cars to Big-O for all maintenance and repairs, and after hearing our story, all of our family and friends are doing the same. We highly recommend Dennis Dusso and the San Clemente Big-O Tires Team to anyone looking for a great mechanic!
