I am very disappointed in the service I received from AutoTire in Eureka, MO. First off - if you want your car to smell like cigarette smoke for a week, this is the place for you. The mechanics smoke in the garage and it gets in your car and it is gross. I took my car in because of a burning smell - most probably from a cracked intake gasket - which I knew about. I was told it was cracked so all was good to get that fixed. I then received another call stating that I would need additional work done on my car - catalytic converter plus miscellaneous minor work. Because I want to keep my car running for a couple more years, I was assured that getting this work done would solve my problems. This information was from the manager. So $1,178 later, my car still had the burning smell 3 weeks later. Hmmmmm - just what actually was done to my car?? I called when I still had the burning smell and took my car back in. They told me there was a part that wasn't on tight - or somethng - and they fixed it. However, now, just 5 weeks after the first outlay of money, my car now seems to need $605 worth of more work. Hmmmmm - how did that much more work need to be done when I was told 5 weeks ago that I would be good to go after the initial $1,178. SO - I took my car to a recommended auto shop and was subsequently told there were some things that were done by AutoTire that were not necessary, and that the recommended work they wanted to charge me $605 for cost me $314 at my new place of business. Please consumers - Be Aware! Pros: null Cons: null
