Five Stars. Two Thumbs Up.Best Hair Cut you will ever receive. I have had hair pretty much since I was a baby boy. My entire life my hair was oddly straight and cow-licky, and a great haircut was something that I eventually gave up on ever finding. An old girlfriend of mine was getting her hair cut at Calcuttas, and urged me to go instead of my usual strip-mall discount hair joint. My haircut was so perfect, so life changing (I am NOT kidding when I say that) that I have been going ever since. I moved to Houston almost 5 years ago. I strayed a few times here in H-town; on referrals and reviews I have had 5 haircuts outside of Calcutta's in the last 5 years. Though some were better than awful, none of them are perfect. I still drive to San Marcos to get my hair cut, and as long as I live within a day's drive, I will do so. Monty takes his time, and goes over everything with a fine tooth comb (literally and figuratively). My new girlfriend (from Houston) goes there with me, and is equally as excited. We also stock up on Aveda Products, which he retails about 20% less than our local Aveda Academy. I cannot say enough. Perfect cut, excellent prices (maybe don't tell Monty, but he is still $5 too cheap), great conversation in the meantime. Calcutta's, imho, is the absolute best. Try it once, change your life too
