I bought an engine from Coleman's for my 1998 Acura SLX! When I was finally able to pay a mechanic to install it, we found out that the engine was not a match! When I contacted the mechanic at Coleman's, he started making excuses about how long it took me to pay for the engine and how I had chose another mechanic to do the job instead of them! The people there are CROOKS and LIARS! The man I spoke to then told me that he would pay $200 towards the installation because of the extra work that would have to be done in order for the engine to work in my vehicle! After he spoke with my mechanic, who assured him that the extra cost would be $250, he told me that he is only going to give me $125! So, I'm am now out $850 that I spent on an engine that was never meant for my vehicle! So, to anyone who thinks about going to have their car serviced at 8160 Old Gentilly Road, in New Orleans East, better known as Coleman's Auto Body Shop, save yourself the trouble and DO NOT GO! They are very belligerent with customers and VERY unprofessional! Vehicles cost a fortune to keep up already! You shouldn't be a crook if you're working on someone's vehicle! Our economy is already not doing too well, not to mention the lack of jobs we have! This is the absolute worse time to take advantage of people!
