My dog had a swollen eye accompanied with a fever. At first LAC thought it was allergies and sent us home with eye ointment. After that weekend, his eye was swollen shut and I brought him back and they put him to sleep and searched for an abcess. He was very dehydrated and they kept him overnight for like 3 nights until they found the abcess behind his eye. They kept him another night until it was down enough that they felt comfortable releasing him. I was worried about the cost since he'd been there soo long but they completely helped me out and didn't charge for the overnight stays or anything like that. They are also the only vet I know that allowed me to postdate a check for the rest of the amount due when I didn't have enough.
Pros: helpful and gave me a break on price
Cons: took several attempts to solve problem
