It is now a year later and I contacted Mr. Gorton about coming out and providing the warranty service which came when we originally had our house painted. Once the weather did cooperate with the painting crew, a crew came out in the afternoon and I showed them were our concerns where, the crew then went about caulking all the areas which needed new caulking and also some scraping which needed to be done. since this was in the afternoon, the painters said they would return the next morning (9-10am) and would paint everything needed and the caulking would be dry and it would also be painted. The crew went right to work and painted everything which needed to be painted, including repainting the entire chimney (which we knew needed touch up, but did not know how much it needed a complete repaint) and the porch pole on the back of the house. The front and sides of the house did not need as much work because it seemed as if the wind/rain and dirt particles battered the south side of the house than the east/west/north sides. Doug Gorton lived up to his warranty and did another excellent job at the 1 yr anniversary and I have no doubt at the anniversary of the 2nd year they will return and do another excellent job. Very worthwhile to have a job done with a warranty which actually work. Would have them repaint our house anytime it needs repainting.
