I found Doug Gorton Professional Painting through a BBB search. I was looking for contractors with A - A+ ratings and I went to the website to request a bid. He came out on a Sunday. He explained why his painters hand wash the exterior of a building rather than pressure-wash. He gave me three different paint color cards to choose from and suggested doing the doors a different color from the house. He also pointed out some problems with the siding that needed addressing as well as touching up a few other areas. The important thing is I didn't have to bring anything to his attention. He knew exactly what to look for and made sure there won't be problems that pop up in a few months. His workers arrived promptly at 8AM every day. The carpentry work took three days and painting two. They did an excellent job. I really like how the place looks!
