Review content:
Scott is an unprofessional and unqualified individual that I would under no circumstances recommend to hire for anyone!
He offered many services and I figured that it could be one stop shopping for me with less hassle, hire just one person to deal with the plumbing, electric and heating in my home. I wish I had never done this and had many issues while working with him, the details are below:
1. I hired him to fix the radiators in my home, he was extremely confident in his abilities to fix the damaged radiators. Well, he installed the radiators that he had repaired and turned the water on. He must have not tested these radiators because he left the home only for me to come back and find water leaking all over the house and through the ceiling! This happened on two separate occasion leaving me with a $200 water bill.
2. The home needed to be inspected by the City of Pittsburgh inspector to have the electric approved and turned on. The home didn't need much electric work just a few updates and Scott said he was a certified electrician by the City of Pittsburgh so this was also included in our original contract. Well, it took him THREE times to get the electric correct. The city inspector originally wrote him a list of items that needed to be completed (not major fixes just little things here and there). I am not an electrician and not trained in that line of work but I am also not an idiot and the city inspector explained the issues to me in plain languages, these issues were common sense and seemed to be easy fixes. The inspector expected this list to take 4 hours to complete. IT TOOK 4 WEEKS. The inspector had to come to the property three times before he could approve it and actually called Scott himself to reprimand him on his work.
3. I also hired Scott to fix some pipes in the house that needed to be repaired. The home wasn't properly winterized and a few pipes had burst, I knew this going into the purchase of the property. Scott missed a key pipe! After this issue I hired someone else.
