I was having a tough time finding another administrative assistant position that paid the same salary after I was downsized in January. A friend of mine mentioned that she had used First Associates Ltd. in the past with successful results so I was willing to try it out. Upon walking into the office their was just a friendly feel to the place starting with the receptionist and lasting through my interview process where I met more than one recruiter who had different positions that I was interested in. The only downside was when it came to taking tests in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Typing because they were lengthy and tedious, but it paid off since I scored well and those tests were forwarded to prospective employers. First Associates was able to generate two interviews for me and always returned my phone calls when I had a question about something. The outcome was extremely satisfying because I landed another administrative assistant position with a firm I wanted to work for. So thanks First Associates I will be passing your name along to others that are searching for jobs in this market.
