This is the most intresting place. Its a Pickle Factory located right over the Harbor Bridge on Green st. in Taft Texas. They make hand-crafted pickles, stuffed Jalapeno olives,Prickly Pear Jelly,Mesquite Jelly all kinds of tasty Texas grown products. On a guided tour which took about an hour and a half. Our party of 15 got a sit down seminar,a table full of all kinds of samples. The candied dill melts in your mouth. They served Spanish Rice made from this Austipecante Salsa that was the best I had ever had.Cream cheese with Mesquite, it was like milk and honey and of course covered with peacans. The Habenero sauce over cream cheese was to die for. There samples of Strawberry Kiwi served on cheese cake,Plus a tour to the cannery to see exactly how fresh the products were made. The beautiful Tour Guide herself was reason enough to take the short drive to Taft! The friendly astmosphere and workers ensure you are happy.....If you think I am exxagerating, just take the little drive yourself and you will believe....ENJOY!
