I was planning to be in Boulder for the year-end holidays and wanted to use the time to get a good cut and some highlights to mask the encroaching gray. Based on the reviews on this site, I made an appointment with Karal and you were all spot on. She is a genius. My hair is long, thick and wavy and she instantly understood the challenges and benefits of living with my kind of hair. She gave me a fabulous cut that enabled me to wear my hair down at work for the first time in years - long layers that eliminated the bushiness and triangle-effect. The highlights are just the right shade of caramel and are placed precisely in the right spot. I love them every day, and more and more. Thanks so much, Karal, for your expertise. I'll see you next time I'm in town!
