Review content:
Though it looks somewhat like a tanning salon from the outside, Isla suprised me: the interior decor is classy and chic, like any Sunset restaurant should be, and the food is delightfully inexpensive without sacrificing presentation, quality, and taste. Also, it's one of the few Mexican restaurants in this area, which is refreshing. The menu is largely seafood based, making for a lighter lunch that works well during the summer, and each dish packs spice: fiery salsa verde is offered with chips, and even the guacamole had a little heat. I specifically liked the ceviche and the colorful cabbage salad. Tacos were a lot bigger than I expected too. Service was friendly and responsive, but I have yet to come here for dinner, when I assume the atmosphere would be a little more on the bustling side.
