Dominion Floors was quick to respond to my calls, and they provided accurate and useful information quickly. They were price competitive with other flooring companies, and they accommodated a very challenging schedule on my part. The work had to be done on three very specific days in order to accommodate a move, and they met my schedule and did excellent work.
Their employees came to my house very well prepared and did excellent work. They ended up doing some more simple and some more challenging work for me. On the second floor of the house they refinished hardwood flooring from the 1980s that had a white-pickled stain surface, and I wanted it removed and the natural color restored. They had to do extra work to remove the pickling from between the seams and the ends of the boards. They did a careful job, and the floor looks great now.
Dominion Floors also had to figure out how to refurbish our probably 120 year old pine floor in the living room. It had been badly sanded by prior workers, and in some places it could not be sanded again because it was worn so thin. They did an excellent job touching up the floors the best they could. They sealed it with a petroleum based seal that brought out the color of the wood and protected it. They did everything possible to make it look as good as new.
Dominion floors did exactly what I wanted, and they did it at a better level of quality than I expected. I am very pleased with them, and I would use them again in a heartbeat.
