Review content:
I've been taking my dogs to The Barking Lot for 15 years. Had a wonderful Springer Spaniel who had awful skin allergies and, if not treated correctly, would get infections. When I asked my Vet if I should keep a grooming appointment when she had a particularly bad breakout, he at first said no and then asked where I took her to be groomed. I told him I took her to The Barking Lot and he told me to go ahead and keep the appointment; that he'd trust Steve to take care of her. Working around that dog's breakouts had to be like clipping around land mines, but she was always perfectly done. Steve would even ask me if I wanted to bring my own shampoo to see that she got the exact prescription and no new or irritating chemicals. Because the prescribed treatment caused some stinging, he would give her a soothing oatmeal bath to alleviate the discomfort after the treatment was completed. I truly think her care at The Barking Lot helped her avoid skin infections and kept her alive and healthy longer. She passed away a few years ago at the ripe old age of 17 1/2 and they still ask about her when I take my other two dogs in.
Pros: Caring and totally professional service
Cons: none
