I felt compelled to respond to the last review of this spa. $35.00 for a Brazilian Bikini is NOT expensive. I live in Manhattan and I make the trip on the LIRR out to Ascend because the quality and level of expertise is comparable if not better than most day spas in Manhattan and the prices are great!! Maybe this client was getting her waxing done in a nail salon which I'm certain can not compare to the service clients receive at Ascend. As for the staff or the front desk person talking down to clients, I can not believe it. I have been a client there for almost 2 years and I am always greeted with a smile. The staff works wonderfully with each other making you feel part of a family. It would be a grave error to allow this client's attitude affect your choice to try this spa.
