THIS IS A COMPANY THAT PROMOTES DRIVER TO NOT USE LOGS WHEN REQUIRED. THE OWNER WHO I WILL NOT NAME RECENTLY WAS TICKETED AT THE EVANSTON WYOMING PORT OF ENTRY FOR THIS VERY THING. I HAD THEM TOW THE TRUCK I WAS DRIVING (130,000 LBS POWDER TRUCK) AND THE DRIVER SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING SO I DID NOT PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT HE WAS DOING WHEN HOOKING UP TO THE TRUCK. HE FAILED TO PULL A SHAFT OR AXLES AND DID NOT TAKE CONTROL OF THE BRAKES OF MY TRUCK. DRIVER COULD DRIVE WELL AND THE JAKE BRAKE WAS AWESOME IN HIS WRECKER UNTIL WE GOT OFF THE ROAD AND STARTED DOWN THE 10% GRADE INTO THE GRAVEL PIT. THE JAKE FAILED AND DRIVER WAS IN TO HIGH OF A GEAR TO CONTROL THE TRUCK SAFELY. WITH OUT BEING TIED INTO THE BRAKES ON THE TRAILERS OF MY TRUCK THERE WAS LITTLE STOPPING POWER. DRIVER DID MANAGE TO STOP THE WRECKER AND THEN START IN A LOWER GEAR. BUT THE JAKE STILL DID NOT WORK. WHEN THE DRIVER COULD NOT SLOW THE WRECKER DOWN HE TOLD ME TO JUMP OUT CAUSE HE HAD LOST CONTROL. THANKFULLY THE WATER TRUCK IN THE PIT HAD MADE A LOT OF MUD AND THE KEARNS DRIVER AIMED FOR THE MUD AND GOT STOPPED. LONG STORY SHORT IT TOOK ANOTHER TWO HOURS TO GET UN STUCK AND THEN HE DECIDED TO TAP INTO THE TRAILER BRAKES. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR A FMCSA AUDIT AND I PLAN ON MAKING A CALL TO THE FMCSA TO REPORT UNSAFE PRACTICES. CONSUMER BEWARE
