Review content:
My husband and I were driving on Christmas day in West Jordan when we got stuck on the road. The wind and snow were so heavy we couldn't see more than 3 feet in front of us. We decided to pull our car up onto the sidewalk so to be sure we were not in the way of city plowing. Needless to say, we were towed anyway miles away near Copperhills High school. We talked personally to the owner, Jan, of Kearns Towing, and she quoted us the outrageous price of $338.30 for us to get our car plus $15/day for it to be in the lot. The next morning we arrived at the impound lot, and our car was buried in 2 feet of snow. We talked to the workman who told us the bill was $363, plus a fuel surcharge of $35, plus the one day fee of $15, total $413! We mentioned what Jan had quoted us over the phone, and he called to Jan to confirm. While on the phone she denied having quoted us the cheaper price (even though we wrote it down and asked several times!). She agreed to lower the price by $10 but then slapped on another $15 for being in the lot that morning (even though our car was in the lot for less than 24 hrs). So the total came out to $418, $65 MORE THAN WE WERE QUOTED over the phone with the owner. Makes you lose faith in the goodness of people.
Cons: Not true to their over the phone quotes
