Everyone knows that it is hard to find a good mechanic, especially if you are not willing to spend a ton of money to take your vehicle to a dealer (with no guarantees there, either!). I had grown very frustrated with the repair shop I'd been taking my car to, primarily because every time I dropped my car off with them, no matter how small the repair, it took a week and a half to get it back! Knowing I was going to need major repairs this time, I was no longer willing to take my car to my usual shop.
