Review content:
It has been a while since I went to Olive Garden, the last time in 2007, on S. Hulen and 820, where the food was just excellent. This time, 25-Jan-10, I went to Olive Garden at 183, close to the Ridmar Mall, to take out: spaghetti and meat balls, mussels di Napoli. My son had the spaghetti and commented that they were a bit soggy, definitely not ?al dente?. I had the mussels and I must say that the sauce was overly salty. The bread sticks that came with the food also were salty to the point that we trashed them. Nevertheless, yesterday (2-Feb-10) my son again had a craving for spaghetti and meatballs, from the same Olive Garden. No change to the above. I had calamari appetizers which were O.K. The breadsticks went, after a bite, straight into the trash: way too salty again. I find it amazing that with all the concerns about healthy food, restaurants still are using such an amount of salt.
Pros: (no Pros)
Cons: Too salty...
