Review content:
I usually don't write reviews but in our case and after reading other posts below I feel compelled to do so. First of all any Vet in the country that is worth anything will ask for at least half of the estimated cost of care up front. I feel that this is standard throughout the USA. I've traveled from coast to coast and have had the misfortune of needing emergency vet services on other occasions. We have a mini dachshund that managed to rupture two discs in her back and paralysis was starting in her back legs. We went to NWVS expecting the worst. The prognosis, after MRI, was a 90% chance of success. We were given an estimate, and were asked to pay half of the estimate only if we decided to proceed. Throughout the whole decision making process, both the doctor and staff were very patient and understanding in our time of anxiety. As it turned out the surgery was a grand success and we now have our little DD back and in great condition and able to do all of the doggy things she used to do. She just can't do steps anymore and play her favorite toy tug-o-war. Once again, If you need emergency vet care be ready to pay if you really want your pet to have a chance at a future. In my opinion, this is the best place to give them that chance.
Pros: Staff that genuinely cares about animals
