My child woke up with a cold and I called the office first thing in the morning to let them know that he was ill. His appointment was scheduled for 4pm and they questioned me as to why he couldn't make the appointment. I explained that he is ill and I did not want to bring him into the office while he is sick. He was scheduled for their free consultation and they informed me if I did not bring him today they will no longer honor the free consultation because they had him scheduled for an hour appointment and he wasn't coming. I pleaded with them and let them know that I had no idea he was going to be sick and could they please allow me to reschedule. They stated that they would be happy to make him another appointment but I would be charged for the consultation. I explained that I would find another orthodontist that doesn't encourage sick children in their office.
