Review content:
I must say that Dr. Larry Pezzullo is amazing. When Sam was a young dog, we went to another vet in Naugatuck. I repeatedly complained to the vet there that Sam's breathe was atrocious. Her reply was to brush his teeth more. Upon moving to Southbury, I interviewed Dr. Pezzullo and decided to switch to him. For our first visit, Dr. Pezzullo found the reason for the bad breathe - infected and rotted teeth! After oral surgery and a teeth cleaning, Sam was fine. Why hadn't the Naugatuck Vet found that!?!?!?!? Poor Sam had suffered needlessly with teeth pain, and who know's what else! About 2 years ago, there was a problem with pet food that ended the lives of over 100 dogs in New England...Sam got really sick from the food, and Dr. Pezzullo did what was necessary and saved Sam's life! Sam is now almost 15 years old and Dr. Pezzullo is still his doctor. There is no other veterinarian that I will bring any of my companions too. I HIGHLY recommend him and his very caring and equally compassionate staff. Pros: Very caring, compassionate, patient, understanding, and gentle. It is obvious he loves his patients. Cons: Wish he had later hours...but otherwise no cons.!!!
