The Staff is not very approchable, more about paperwork than the clients. Lots of elderly that have intensive care so nothing for those who are there for drpression, bipolar or other such problems. No excersise, few groups. Have a schedule, but mostly filled w/ personal time, meaning your on your own. Two fairly uncomforable day/thearpy/dining/anything rooms. Never enough chairs for anyone. Have one level for all clients, no one gets, pens, you have to use little tiny golf pencils and no earsers, cuts down on desire to write. In short it's an updated version of dickions. There is no incitive to do better, why you will still be treated the same. You are under gaurd, lock and key, because too few staff, Everything is bare bones, no shower curtian, no personal items allowed-couse, thats why! Techs spend most of their time filling out reports on where people are and if they are smiling, or talking, or sleeping, so don't expect any conversations except w/ other patients. Learn to do puzzles, and fill your time with reading and coloring. Beware of two male night nurses who are extreamly mean and have nothing to do with the clients, barely do their jobs but love putting down and threating clients. If you absolutly need to be hospitalized, go, other wise try to find outpatient anywhere, and stay away from inpatient. Pros: Food is fair, good veggies, techs are better than the RN's Cons: Very few groups, no one on ones, rely on medications.
