My recent experience with Carolina Medi Spa may cost me a long term facial disfigurement. The restalyne was injected under my eye, a treatment I had had for years there, but since the spa has become like a factory an assistant did the treatment. She injected in the wrong spot and the restalyne is now "floating," visible hard nodules under my eyes. This has persisted for a year despite the Spa's claims it will diminish. I have since sought the expertise of a well known plastic surgeon who said it is not correctable by surgey. Another practitioner has begun giving remedial injections and said that the Medi Spa should have corrected this problem which was evident immediately instead of telling me to "wait." The spa offered me $550 to sign a waiver of future liability and also acknowledged the error that needed correction! I refused to sign and they have turned this over to their insurance company. Shocking treatment of a long standing client.
