Review content:
It is so refreshing to walk into a school like this one. The children are working, mostly independently. Since kids learn best from each other, each child sets an example for the others. This is the genius of Montessori, and also the director, Naseem, who sets a standard in creating learning environments which all schools should try to achieve. I love seeing the children concentrating on a project or a piece of work-especially since so many kids today are said to have attention deficit disorder. If you want a school like the one in the old Charlie Brown cartoons where the teacher drones on and on, this is not the place. But if you want to see your child mature, have self-esteem, and feel fulfilled at the end of the day, this is a great school!
Pros: Not a one-size-fits-all approach; Children develop as both people and students.
Cons: No TV or video, no junk food.
