I made an unfortunate decision in having Scott at Rand & Associates do our taxes last year. He NEVER responded to emails or phone calls, and I mean NEVER!! He only copied what I had already done on Turbo Tax, made me wait until the final filing day to finally get in touch with me to give me my taxes (which were no different than what I had already done on Turbo Tax) and then charged me $500. What a joke!! Do NOT use this accounting firm. Not only did he not do anything for me, he gave me the worst advice. After consulting another accounting firm for my 2011 taxes, of course after we did not get a return call from Scott, we were told that all the money we spent on obtaining an S Corp were ill advised and so we had to incur more fees to undo his bad advice. Stay away from Rand & Associates.
