I called for pricing to tune up my riding lawn mower, replace the inner tube and blades. Jeff quoted 89.98 Tune up, $6 - 10 for inner tube $16-$26 for the blades (althought "he doubted" I needed blades. I ask for bottom line he repeated the above. I asked him bottom line would he agree that the total costs would not exceed $180 - He agreed. He said he would need 3-4 days, he picked up the next am at 8 am he called same date at 9:59 am stating mower was ready. Bragged about how he cleaned my mower by removing the dead grass and that he would bring the blades to show me that they needed ot be replaced. He could drop off the mower by 6pm. He dropped the bomb, his costs almosted doubled.to $326. Why? He stated that it takes 2 hours to dirve 9.13 miles. It has been a week, he refused to return my mower, unless, according to him that I pay him cash the $326 this is per "state law". He refuses to honor the orignal quoted price and as he states HE DOES NOT HAVE THE TIME to talk and he has the right to charge whatever he decides and I have to pay it. I have no problem paying the agreed upon price. He is rude, and totally dishonest. Do yourself a favor, stay away from Jeff (JW Small Engines, AKA 3A' and A J Inc).
