The second night I lived there my car was broken into and my stereo stolen as well as a vacuum cleaner, after being told they had the lowest crime rate in Tempe. I did unfortunately refer a friend and was told the money would come off my next months rent. They moved in and confirmed that I had 200$ of my next months rent and when I went into pick up a package on the day it was due and to confirm this once more, I was told that I would need to wait for them to receive a check from their corporate office in New York and was basically made to look like a liar. So I had to scramble to find a way to get my rent in for the month and had to leave it in the drop box overnight. When I awoke the next day I had a notice of eviction on the door stating that I had not paid rent. When I went into the office to find out why this was, the lady in there was SO RUDE and didn't even take the time to listen but curtly told me that I hadn't paid my rent despite me saying that I had. She finally checked the drop box and low and behold the checks and money orders were all there. When I told her she needed to watch her attitude towards me she said she didn't have one and when she asked what my apartment number I replied shortly, due to the frustration with whole situation, and she retorted with "You need to watch your attitude". I said, "Excuse me?" and then she said, "Get out of my office" Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with office management. I guess that's what you get when your rent is the cheapest you can find in Tempe for the square footage. Remember, you get what you pay for and I would hugely recommend you look somewhere else unless you want to be lied to by office staff. Pros: Cheap rates for apartments Cons: Rude Staff
