Review content:
I moved to Jasmine Village more than a year ago - when it was still "Muirfield" and before Lyon Management bought it. It was okay then. Nothing great, nothing bad, just a solid apartment community. Now that Lyon has bought it, they have had at least 3 different managers and a ton of leasing agents. Nobody stays - all of the original (and good) staff has quit and the constant turnover of new and untrained employees (which includes management) is poor at best. The current manager is a joke - he has no clue what he's doing. I've had to call corporate twice in order to get a door fixed - it wouldn't lock for two weeks!! They kept telling me that there were "scheduling problems" and "delayed part delivery." The manager even went so far as to call me a liar, inform me my problem was not an emergency issue, that he didn't have to "deal with" me, and hang up on me! It was ridiculous. I called and spoke to the corporate office and the manager there had to call him and chew him out before he finally got someone to fix my door lock. We were planning on living here for another year but now I'm moving as soon as my lease expires. Who wants to live in a place where they don't consider a door that won't lock an emergency? Anyway, I've had to call about an insect problem six times this year - I've had enough. Save your money and find somewhere nicer.
Pros: short term leasing options
Cons: horrible management, high turnover, insect problem
