Review content:
On the recommendations here, and because I live in the neighborhood, I went for a facial with Margo. She did spend a decent amount of time on extractions, and they were definitely painful, more so than those at Providence Day Spa (also in the neighborhood). The facial itself was pretty basic, but the products were really nice--Dermalogica. After the facial, I still had the blemishes I had before, though, only smaller. A week and a half later, they have almost all disappeared, but after I exfoliated, put on a couple masks, and put zapping stuff on myself throughout the week. In contrast, after other facials, my skin looked markedly clearer and there were no blemishes remaining after 2-3 days, without me doing all that follow up stuff. It is a good value for a basic service, but if you can swing the extra $20 I would head somewhere else for a more thorough and lasting facial. Also, Margo left the room for 15-20 min while my mask was in--at other places, the facialist will stay and massage hands, feet, and scalp.
