Review content:
I was in the car business for 11 years, so i know the tactics. They are upsell artists, they tell you anything to get you in the dooor and when you get you there they try to sell you everything under the sun. They stripped two lug nuts and studs on a simjple tire change after we refused to buy all their extra crap. They shouldve not used the gun or put lubrication on the lug before they muscled or forced it off stripping it. They wanted to charge me $75 xtra for damage they caused. After arguing with me about whose fault this was and saying my wife shouldnt drive the car, i gave in and he refused to do the work because of the way I talked to him. My wife drove off with my 3 month old baby boy with 2 lugs missing on the front tire, real safe. Brian, the owner Glenn's son quoted me a cheap price to get me in the door and when the problem came up he refused to talk to me on the phone. When Glenn the father called my co-worker he exlcaimed that.."we have enough business here" , implying he didnt need anymore referrals. I haven't felt like i was being this screwed in a very long time. it is a sick feeling. I took the car to another place and they fixed the the lug nuts and studs that Duxler stripped for $35, Duxler demanded $75. I was in the car business for 11 years so im no stranger to their tactics. when they couldnt upsell me brakes, an alignment, and an oil change, they screwed up the car and tried to add $75 to the bill and when i didnt go for it they weren't interested in doing the work. this is the first time i ever drove off from the mechanic with the car in worse shape than when i arrived. i cannot even give these people 1 star. they put my 3 month old baby boy Franco in an extermely dangerous situation. unless you are ready to spend thousands of dollars on your car, don't bother and even then be careful.
