Businiess name:  National Car Rental

Review content:
I recently had to fly to the U.P. after receiving a call that my husband was in a snowmobile accident. We had to fly into Escanaba and rent a car to get to Marquette, so we rented a car from National car rental at the Escanaba airport. Four days later I called National to see if I could leave the car in Marquette, as we had made arrangements to drive back home from Marquette to our home in Pennsylvania (12 hours away). The National employee said "No, the car has to be brought back to Escanaba". I explained to him that my husband was in the hospital in Marquette (an hour and a half the opposite direction) with 13 brtoken ribs, a collapsed lung, and a broken shoulder, and his reply was still, "no, the car HAS to be brought back to Escanaba". After further conversing (in which the employee spoke over me, and asked ME to please stop talking so that he may speak), he told me that I could leave the car in Marquette but it would cost me SUBSTANTIALLY, and that he would "have to change everything around in the computer". I asked him the cost--$438!! Pros: null Cons: null
