Review content:
I hated to do this but if you look at their reviews the other really negative one is about their bookkeeper on Yelp and so is mine. I love David Lee who was my practioner but in the end I had to make a choice and decided I had to go elsewhere. I found them because they had an internet coupon special in late July 2011. Well it was for a consult, free massage and Xray at a discounted price. Immediately I was told I needed better Xrays than they could provide so I thought about it and since I needed help got my own Xrays which ended up even with insurance costing $263. So I got no real deal here. But it was what Dr. Lee and I needed to go forward. Soon thereafter I took a job after Labor Day which keeps me out of the house from 5am until 7PM due to the long commute. So I had a lot of visits in August and then weekends. It wasn't until the end of October that I realized I had never seen a bill from Dynamic Chiropractic and coincidentally one then arrived at the beginning of November. No detail at all. Just nearly $600 in previous arrears amount and more going forward. Well that immediately got an email from me to their bookkeeper because I have great insurance so what was going on and why the arrears since I have never been billed. I got no answer. So the next time I was in the bookkeeper was working the front desk and said she had yet to look into it but would get back to me. However, that same day when I was home I began getting email alerts from my insurance company that a bunch of claims were processing. Sure enough. Only day before the bookkeeper had submitted claims for August 2nd onward thru October and yet she had acted like she knew nothing less than 24 hours later. And I didn't get credit for having paid for my own Xrays as far as I could tell. So I sent another email and got no response. finally I sent a 3rd email and cc'd Peter Carr who owns this clinic. that got action. Well I got a response then from the bookkeeper she didn't understand why I was upset because she had thoroughly explained the situation to me she claimed. Hooeey! At that I had had enough. You can either admit screwing up and ask forgiveness or not tell the truth to try to cover your tracks. But my emails and all the insurance claims are date and time stamped. Peter Carr did try to make amends with me afterwards but even when he tried to tell me which visits they gave me for credit he was wrong about which visits they had billed and what they hadn't. He had not heard about the previous emails either. This was no new inquiry. That told me they didn't actually know what was submitted and what wasn't her bookkeeping was so bad- at least at that moment although in fact I had told them what 2 visits were still unbilled in my second email a week before. So I stood back and decided I simply won' t deal with someone who is dishonest and unfortunately does the books in that clinic and who is also inaccurate and doesn't do her work in a timely fashion. This has nothing to do with Peter Carr or David Lee. I don't need the hassle or bad vibes in my life. So like the other negative review states on Yelp - pay by credit card and make sure you can see your insurance billings on line - the bookkeeper does not in my experience send out bills with any detail nor monthly in my case.
