Review content:
I went to this Orthopedic after an ER visit to Gulf Coast medical Center. I had fallen while at work. Self employed and no insurance I went to the er for medical help. I have worked all my life and 2 years ago found myself in the jobless pool. I have had medical insurance for 30+ years and never knew how those without are treated until I went to this office for medical help. I was treated so rude by the older blonde lady in office as soon as I walked in. I was able to pay cash that day so they cut the cost almost if not in half. I would have paid 3 times if I had to make payments. How does that help anyone? All they did was tell me I didn't have any breaks but they really couldn't tell because my elbow was still so swollen. Told me to go get and MRI but if I did that it would cost me $167 up front. If I could afford this I could probably afford insurance. Then come back and give them $75 again for WHAT??? The whole point was they corral you in, you sit for 2-3 hours, they have no concern for your injury or pain. Money is all they care about, not getting people well. I told them when I was leaving, (as I was crying for being treated so bad) " I have been a "have" and I have been a "have not". It sure doesn't feel good to be a have not but it hurts worse when you are treated that way by those who demean you and look down their nose at you. Pros: null Cons: null
