All I can say is that I spent $1,600 + and my dog got worse. Heart of Texas never figured out what was wrong with Niko. I ended up having to take her to Central Texas Veterinary Specialty Hospital. The vet heard Niko cough and 15 mins later came back after doing a test and told me Niko had pneumonia. They told me if I took her home, 50% chance of living. This was Friday at 12pm. The evening before, I picked her up at Heart of Texas and they told me Niko was stable. I was up all Thursday night with her and I knew I had to take her somewhere else. Friday morning, Heart of Texas was pushing me to take her to A&M to do an emergency test on her heart. Glad I didn't take their advise or I would have been out of pocket ~$600 with the drive to A&M and the cost of the emergency heart test. Niko stayed 3 night at CTVSH and she is now doing absolutely great! Pros: 0 Cons: Several
