This is low-rate food for sure. The food at the Garden in Beachwood is not completely inedible, but there are plenty of other Italian restaurants that do better, so why bother? Every course was overly salted and was probably at least 50% fat. I'm a salt-lover, so I'm not afraid of it, but this food was almost painfully salty. I bet even the desserts (which we didn't have) are salty! The risotto was really disappointing. Besides being almost too salty to eat, it was gummy and seemed to have heavy cream in it. That's not how you make a good risotto. The table cover and all the menus were sticky, which is gross. The place was not completely filled, but we still had to wait at least 20 minutes for a table. The host and hostesses were only minimally responsive. On the plus side, the waitress was very nice, and we tipped her well. Pros: Good wait service (the hosts not so much), some food is OK; adequate parking Cons: Some dishes not so good, too salty and fatty; long wait for table; competitors do better
