Review content:
This is the only place near Manayunk to get shoes repaired, and that is a tragedy. The owner of the shop is incredibly rude, and the staff there is not any different. They messed up my repairs both times I took shoes there (cleaning shoes needing heels repaired without fixing the heels). One of my shoes just needed the heel repaired. It was a mostly white shoe with black piping. For some reason, they decided I wanted the white touched up - and they did an AWFUL job. It looked like a kid took whiteout. Very, very sloppy; I ended up using nail polish remover to take the white off the black piping. What I can't believe is that I gave them all my shoes in a grocery bag with a typed list of the repairs. I can understand forgetting what I wanted, but all they had to do was read the list! After I stopped using this place, I had an interesting conversation with my workplace concierge service, who basically said that they hated using the shop, but that they couldn't find a more suitable place close to the city. So I know that it's not just me!
