Review content:
The late W.W. "Shorty" Winkler and his lovely wife established this business many years ago. My grandfather was shop foreman for Texaco ane he and Mr. Winkler established a partnership and handled all of Texaco`s road calls. Winkler was honest and very professional. He hired the best mechanics available. Many folks called Shorty if they had a mechanical problem and he could often diagnose the problem right over the phone. He spent countless hours helping people free of charge. He cared about fixing cars and trucks even if there was no financial gain for him. I loved the little upstairs offie they had back when they were located on Commerce Street. I feel that the Winkler tradition is still alive and well. Pros: Established by Great Folks Cons: None that I know of
