This is one of the best ever restaurants my wife and I have ever eaten. Although we are basically vegetarians this place is the one place we drop all our dietary guidelines and feast on their chicken livers. The vegetarian dishes are exceptional. Collards and fried okra are unreal. We plan to eat Thanksgiving Dinner there this year. Glad this one survived Katrina. I am almost reluctant to tell people about it, selfish I know but don't want it to get too famous and change. The servings are really huge too, always enough left over to bring our dog "Scooter". He loves it too. Pros: Actually healthy Creole cooking, no lard used in vegetarian dishes Cons: There is not one in my home town
