I just found this Lexus specialist after 5 years of using the local quick-service place. I knew there was no Lexus dealer in town and thought these were my only options. Once I found Independent Automotive, which deals specifically with Lexus (mine is a 2004), and talked with the owner, Asiri DeSilva, I knew I was on to something good. I was concerned about money, and we talked about what needed to be done and what it would cost. Asiri gave me a printed estimate, so no surprises when it came time to pay. The car had to be completely evaluated as it wasn't originally clear as to what was wrong with it.. I did find out the Fast Lane people were not using Lexus parts when they told me they could. I also had some body work done while Asiri had the car, and it is beautiful. Asiri returned the car to me in wonderful condition. The outside and inside of the car had never looked so good. About a month later my car wouldn't start, and I debated whether to call AAA or Asiri. I called Asiri first and he diagnosed the problem over the phone. The solution was ultra-simple but involved obscure information that only someone with a *thorough* knowledge of Lexus' would know. I was really blown away by how easy Asiri made it for me.
