$8 "sample" lotions? Ok, maybe its just me, but when you are processing payment for a customer & you ask them if they want to "try a sample" shouldn't it be complimentary or maybe a couple of bucks? But when they ring it in without telling you & then present you with a receipt that shows an $8 sample! I mean really! But I was able to get over it and went for my 2nd visit. My original attendant started me off on a Level 2 bed for 9 minutes based on my complexion etc. I returned on my 2nd visit to find a new attendant - lets call her Condescending Girl. I was with a friend who hadn't tanned in over a month - and who is also light haired and light skinned, opposite of me. Condescending Girl had no problem letting her into a Level 3 bed. She tells me I can go Level 3 but she asked if I had any lotion with me. I told her that I was all set, based on my experience with the $8 sample, I didnt feel like talking my way out of a $50 bottle. When I told her that I didnt need any she proceeded to rant for 10 minutes about UV exposure & skin cancer. Now dont get me wrong I think it's fine they care about your well being - but she just let my friend in no questions asked. She had a problem with me because I didnt want to buy any of her lotions. I was so frustrated at the way she was talking to me that I gave up and said I would rather go back into the level 2 than have to purchase any more expensive products. What I dont understand is how come level 3 was so life threatening without lotion - but level 2 isnt? And it is not mandatory that you wear lotions and I signed the waiver and am responsible for my own decisions so I can really do without the sales people treating me like a child and trying to shame me into buying their transparent products (dont you know that indoor lotion is soooo different form outdoor!) With that said I will return to finish out my balance but that is it - and I will be sure to try and avoid times when Condescending girl is working!!
Pros: nice facility
Cons: horrid staff
